Daylesford Young Entrepreneurs Shine at Young Enterprise Trade Fair

Young Enterprise Winners

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the success of our Daylesford Academy pupils who took part in the Young Enterprise Birmingham and Solihull Trade Fair at Touchwood, Solihull this term.

As part of the prestigious Young Enterprise Company Programme, our students worked hard throughout the term to design, create, and sell a range of handmade products. They developed everything from concept to customer, building skills in creativity, teamwork, financial planning, and communication along the way. The pupils showed dedication, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit — traits we value highly here at Daylesford Academy.

Their efforts were rewarded with a Certificate of Achievement from Young Enterprise, recognising their commitment and the professional standard of their work throughout the project.

Taking part in the Trade Fair gave our students the unique opportunity to pitch their products to real customers and compete alongside other schools across the region. The buzz of a live retail environment at Touchwood Shopping Centre provided the perfect setting for students to showcase their work and engage with the public. Staff and members of the community were full of praise for their confidence, maturity, and business acumen.

This experience not only celebrated our students’ achievements but also reflected the power of practical learning — helping young people develop the skills and self-belief to succeed beyond the classroom.

Well done to all the young entrepreneurs involved — we are so proud of you!
