Welcome to our school website!

I am pleased to announce that as from 1 September 2022 we have become a member of the Solihull Academy Alternative Provision Multi Academy Trust.  Our new name is Daylesford Academy and the logo is visible above.  We will be continuing to provide a first class supportive educational experience for all our pupils as well as enhancing their learning journey through accessing the benefits that being part of a Multi Academy Trust can bring.

Daylesford Academy is a caring school where staff understand the difficulties the pupils have accessing education. Pupils are encouraged to believe in their abilities to overcome their barriers to learning. The Pupils are at the heart of every decision we make to ensure that they are happy and confident learners and with your support, are working together to ensure they achieve academically, socially and emotionally.

At Daylesford Academy we believe that pupils should be curious about their learning. Our intent is to implement a curriculum that has an impact on pupils’ learning. Staff have worked hard to ensure that it will foster a passion for learning, where individual talents can be nurtured and knowledge retained.

We are a ‘Restorative’ School. Through the use of ‘Restorative Practice’ it enables those who have been harmed to convey the impact of the harm to those responsible, and for those responsible to acknowledge this impact and take steps to put it right.

The school has a dedicated team of both Teaching and Support Staff that work hard to reach high standards in everything we do. We endeavour to foster successful relationships with parents/carers and the local community. We firmly believe that education is a partnership between home and school and regard you as an active partner in your child’s education and value your interest and support.

I hope that this website will give you as much information as possible about our school, the staff and the many activities that our pupils enjoy throughout the curriculum. It will continue to grow overtime so please watch this space!
